It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that the Directors & Staff of West London Shooting School have to announce the sudden death of our friend and colleague Billy Rimell at home on 12th February 2026.
Billy has worked for the school for 35 years and had been head groundsman for upwards of 27 years and was an integral part of our small close-knit team. He will be sorely missed on both a professional & personal level.
Billy was responsible for the successful running & upkeep of the grounds together with the setting of so many enjoyable competitive Championship courses, for our private and corporate clients on the grounds and simulated days offsite.
Above all he was a friend to both us and so many of our regular clients and as such will be irreplaceable.
At this difficult time our love, thoughts & prayers are with Michelle, Ashley, Josh, Louie & Isobel and his wider family.
We have placed a Book of Condolences in the lodge at the Shooting School for anyone to write any thoughts you have, alternatively please send on email or text which we will print and place in the book for you.
